Lyrics
Take a number and step to the rear please
we got Roast Beef, Lamb chops and Pork knees
Oh Oh Oh OOh Oh
I can slice it up wafer thin ma'am
Olive loaf and low baked salt ham
Oh Oh Oh OOh Oh

There's something rotten goin' on at the Deli Case
Bad meat and cheese oh please
All in my face
There's something rotten goin' on at the Deli Case
Got all these people oh please
gettin' in my face

There's something rotten in the Deli Case (x4)

We're serving up number 29 now
Every manner of Trout, Lamb an Cow oowww
Oh Oh Oh OOh Oh
There's Gouda, Edam and the Swiss cheese
Put em' on you Pork Rolls and Gnocchis
Oh Oh Oh OOh Oh

There's something rotten goin' on at the Deli Case
Bad meat and cheese oh please
All in my face
There's something rotten goin' on at the Deli Case
Got all these people oh please
gettin' in my face

There's something rotten in the Deli Case (x4)

*Guitar*

There's something rotten goin' on at the Deli Case
Bad meat and cheese oh please
All in my face
There's something rotten goin' on at the Deli Case
Got all these people oh please
gettin' in my face

There's something rotten in the Deli Case (x4)

This sounds pretty solid
to me. Good guitar and drum sounds (although there seems to be a crackle during the lead?), and the mix sounds good. Lyrics cracked me up, and the singing is good. Kind of early Clash sound. Great name for a band, too! Nice one. Peace.

Hey Thanks
My first comment. I'm famous!! Yeah this is my band "The Vomiting Bishops". The guy singing the lead, Bob MacDonald, my brother Jim and I came up with the name when we were 13 or 14 years old. I'm now 36, I have grown older, but the music has barely matured. We make songs that are mostly ridiculous but often catchy as well. The group includes whoever happens to be around at the time of recording and is willing to join in the absurdity. Thanks for the comment, I will definitely check your stuff out soon.

Fun
This is a very fun track, and I think Weird Al Yankovic would approve.

I like the shouting of the chorus every now and then.

Beyond the humor, the song is well-structured and shows evidence of good planning. Catchy.

Guitar work is very strong, and is a nice bonus. Guitar solo sounds something like the guitarist from the group "Boston."

Thanks John.
Yeah this song is just for fun, but we tried to make it catchy too. Thanks for giving it a listen, and yes it is a very Weird Al type song.

crankin
I really like the energy you guys infuse this with. The lyrics are 'choice cut' select. Dig the backing vox!

Choice cut indeed.
Well when you only use 4 or 5 chords in this style, I think energy is really all you have to inject into the song. And yeah doing the background gang vocals was fun. Thanks for the listen. I will definitely check out your stuff soon.

Thanks MV
This is a remake of an even older version. Some of this mix is kooky, but I like the song. And of course the song is ridiculous as well. I am trying out some new gear now (Firepod, and PocketPOD) and I would like to post something again soon. I will definitely be checking out your stuff soon.
