Description:
This was something I cooked up today; kind of reminds me of Air (or a porno soundtrack). I couldn't immediately think of something to sing over it, so figured I would just post it as an open clab. was basically just a fun way to pass the time today.

I did this with GB4 and used the motown bass, and the free alpha soft synth. let me know if you want the file, but if you don't have those plug-ins it won't sound the same.here's the GB file on sendspace:

Hardware:
intel mini mac, m-audio 49e keyboard,

Software:
GB4, free Alpha synth, remix jampack for the bass (i think)

I would feel a fire guitar licks over it ..dunno
maybe a vocaling singing can be done over it ..
the keys the piano and the drums just so right to
let a real guitar work to work over ..anyway it
stand itself as a cool theme ..just cool man

i was just playing around with some drum loops that i would never use ordinarily. just having fun. should be really nice when Le Debutante gets done with it. thanks for listening.

I wish I'd had this to play with this morning when I was feeling totally blocked up creatively and nothing that I had to work on was doing it for me.

Seriously - this is a very cool track with some smokey keys and slinky atmospherics befitting one of Lisa's star treatments. I can't wait.
I also kinda wonder what a duet with Lisa and DJ Toast would sound like.

mindreader. i just asked him if he would be into doing something over this. i'm not that awesome a keyboard player and got really lucky with the organ part. not too many mistakes. thanks for checking this out Bud.

just screams red velvet bedspread, satin pillows with gold tassles. Shag carpet, 5" long fake fur covered sofa and tight vinyl hotpants with suspenders (but not on me)

An easy to listen to piece of music. OK by itself and I'm sure it will be wonderful with the input of the other MJ'ers who've expressed an interest in adding their magic to yours.

from beginning to end - especially the organ. Super cool. Surprised you didn't sing to it with your amazing voice. But I guess you wanted to give others a shot with this open collaboration. I'd give it a shot if I didn't sound like Tiny Tim.

a great sound bed for the vocalists to toy with. Sexy and slinky with plently of fertile real estate to lay down some voices. you have an amazing ear for subtle little production nuggets that really super charge your tracks. ie..the strings towards the end. I wish I could sing!

I think it would be great in a movie, but I'd say an artsy one, and not necessarily the pornographic kind, lol.

Anyway, I think it's a great song, great composition of sounds. Will love hearing what people come up with. You are a very generous musician.

Cool sound, man... it has loads of depth to it and could be taken into several directions, even as background music of a movie or with the right lyrics, vocally it would shine on it's own..... very broad in it's scope!!!!!!! Great melody!!!!!!!
