Tofu Spaghetti

Using Separation Blues as a starting point, I wrote this in the early 80s when my university students asked me to make a speech for the club on the topic of my choice. I chose Tofu Spaghetti as a metaphor for trying things that are outside the norm (for most Japanese in any case). Since I thought the speech would go over better if I had a song to go with it, I made this one up. I also came up witj a recipe. Some students, believing I actually had cooked the dish, went and made it and brought it to a class party. I guess this is actually an example of collaboration of a sort.

Now futsu spaghetti don't taste too bad
