Lyrics
Take Up The Slack

In times of aftershock
and roadkill,
speedballs,
planet pills,
You can’t just go loose,
let it hang,
tie a noose…You gotta take up the slack

You gotta take up the slack
You gotta tighten up
Be sharp, use your luck, clean act,
Don’t let it rip!

You gotta take up the slack.
You gotta take up the slack..

Spinning, no control
In the stars, no hold,
Crashing cars
zombie cold
need it soon
Human friend,
ride the moon…You gotta take up the slack

You gotta take up the slack
You gotta tighten up
Be sharp, use your luck, clean act,
Let it rip, gotta take, gotta take, take a trip
You gotta take up the slack

Future’s happening,
we’re all getting in the spin
See my O-Tau-Matron©,
crooked hinge, good thing
Push button, see it play
Save it now and walk away
No holds barred today…You gotta take up the slack

You gotta take up the slack
You gotta clean up your act

You gotta take up the slack. Take Up The Slack!

Finding Your Niche
Hey Jim,

man I really like all this futuristic synthetic technology driven music you're making. Really great beats and nice driving rap on top.

I'm glad Tom Wounded pulled your finger!

(By the way - I love your new photo!)

UFO Abduction?
I dont know what happenned but this Space Age Punk sound had to come from somewhere, this is truly one of the best punk/pop songs I have heard here in awhile.
I really dig that bass and those background blips

Lol! I googled O-Tau-Matron and was redirected to this page hehe
is that somekind of hidden trippy loop device?

Cools lyrics too!!! I bet ya Steve will love this :D

What a cool thing to do
O-Tau-Matron - coypyright - me. Another Infinite made up word to add to my spacevocab (and there's another!)

I'm going for the cybermarket. One day all automatons will seek their musical roots, and they may just find them here.

Or at J&Rs...

Cheers, T.

Ain't that the truth!
I'm lost without any buttons to press. Ever thought about buying shares in the battery market? The wireless age is growing, keyboard, mouse, cell phones, digital camera, remote etc.

The future is using up energy, bring on the solar powered devices...

Thanks for listening, Mr H.

No, but
A rollerball scroll for flicking thru TV channels would be a bonus...

That and a monorail link from home to office.

And bring back Top Cat.

Hmmm...

Len,
Thanks for tuning in - yep, you are right, it could have been longer, but I kept it short to take up the slack.

I think that's meant to be ironic...or lazy.

Cheers for listening,

Jim

Ride the Moon
I totally hear Five-Extra-Arms influence hear, or do you guys have the same influences. This really knocks me out. Do you know why? Because no record company would ever let you do something like that on their dime. And you showed them why they should take chances like they use to do.
Absolutely great stuff.

LL - you've just...
hit the nail square on the head! This is what it is all about. Owner-producer material that would not be heard thru 'normal' channels. In it for fun has got to be better than chasing the elusive deal, plugging avant-garde music that would never be given a chance.

Well said, LL. And thanks for your comment.

And yes - 5EA has re-engineered my output!
