Hey Always nice to hear Amanda. Best female vocalist I may have ever heard. Nice tune! I'd like to know what your "normal rig" is. Your bass always sounds so up front and punchy. I can't get sounds like that from my set up (Fender Standard Jazz straight into the board with whatever Guitar Rig bass setting sounds best). I'm sure some kind of compression is key. As for my bass rig. i play a Fender prophecy II with active pickups, directly into a M-Audio MobilePre USB. Vocal delivery really emphasizes those cool lyrics (which I'd love to see posted). I really like those harmonies- a little beyond the norm and very, very slick.
Steve- you know I'm a huge fan of your bass playing and there's no exception here. I like how the bass line almost goes against the melody in the verse... I may not be explaining that well so you hopefully know what I mean. It's meant to be purely positive!
Your guitar playing and writing is definitely getting more sophisticated!
