... Don Williams. You have the mellow old-country vibe. Very Nice.
I'm new to this site and recording too, so I can't give specific tips, but i just thought you should know your voice gets tinny and distorts on my speakers though. Which is too bad because I really like this song. If you get better at producing your vocals and guitar, I'd like to hear this song again.

Thanks for sharing, I don't know If I've heard such a natural sounding harmonic backround killer vocal. But the regular vocal is outstanding as well.

*Pop* written all over it. Why in the world would you label this *Country-Western*, Craig? You don't even have a Scottish *twang*. LOL

Very sweet ditty. With a few instrumental additions and a bit tighter production approach, this tune could have some real power. As it is, some elements are lost in the mix. I wouldn't want to lose the really good guitar sound of this mix, but it needs to surface those other elements.

One immediate suggestion would be to ease off the vocal FX during the verses and let them emerge during the choruses.

thank you for the feedback i always have trouble with the genre it started of as a country song but you are right it ended up a pop song i have not been recording very long so i am discovering a new world and will get better with time cheers craig

I really like the structure of this song. Very, very good lyrics. Production does need to be a bit improved. Think you have a nice voice, maybe you have something on you voice?
This reminds me of Cat Stevens a lot. Would like to hear a more natural version of this.

You're a very good songwriter.
