That's an excellent trip; that crossfade at 1:54 to the whistler is
I N S A N E good!
I'll be smiling the rest of the day......
Best,
spitlogic
Thanks. I was not sure how some of the sounds here would come across since the vinyl (as you can tell) was pretty scratchy, though I think it gave it a nice touch.
Diviner
Love the cut and paste feel to the track, with your turntabalist skills. Very impressed, it all sounds really good. Nice one Bro
spitlogic
I actually did a lot of that by making all the beats at first and then laying the cuts where I felt they were appropriate. Im glad you liked it.
as I expected. oldskool! and it rules. i like the bboy like skills, the scratching and frantic beat changes. i luv that old Apache breakbeat loop. A true low rider tune.
spitlogic
Im a relic man and I love it. Old skool, new skool, all skool!!!
craft

spitlogic
Im trying to keep things funky. Thanks for stopping by.

like a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow of funkilicious flavors...really fun!
spitlogic
I wish I had more time to work on this, but with the constraints I've had lately it hasn't been easy. Thanks for stopping by.

synth sounds. Lots of interesting sounds in there.
spitlogic
I wanted to create a very digital feel and a diverse mix.
lengold
no idea whether this is old or new school but it was definitely a good school. You learnt very well. Great and clever sounds and very enjoyable.
Cheers
Len

Glad you liked it. I consider myself an old-schooler (sometimes just old) and I think that sound (or vibe) continues to instill in me inspiration. One can hear it in my music.
Roxylee
I think you should be on the radio. Your music is a lot more interesting than the commercial stuff I hear. Impressive hoe you get the timing perfect with all that is going on- that must take a lot of work. Cool song! :-)
spitlogic
...to keep things interesting. I love breaks and love to find them (Im actually heading to the thrift shop soon). I plan on making more songs like this one. Thanks for the comment and the stop by.
ElPeruano
your mixes are always a pleasure to listen to. so much raw energy and undeniable groove. I someday would like to try my hand at vinyl and turntables, it just has such an organic feel that synth music rarely can match. thanks for sharing.
spitlogic
Thanks for the compliment. If you need any help (not that I'm an expert) on anything like this let me know. As far as Im concerned your music is pretty top notch.

I'm trying man. I don't think I'm the best at this (or good enough to be called a pro), but I think Im getting better.
Dj French Toast
I see you flexin your other genre and makin me miss the spit joints : ) Dude this is ill man . Your scratch tech is getting better all the time . love the Waren G sample sample in there and really diggin the change ups and pace of this joint.Bud sent me out a copy of a DVD called NYC 1977 ....I got to send you out a copy youd love it its 100% B-Boy man ! All about the underground culture then .Stay up Spit and hope to get a colab workin soon !
spitlogic
I've heard of that movie. Havent seen it, but it will be at least another month or so before I record any vocals. All of my gear is on a crate being shipped to Hawaii and I wont be there till the end of the month. All I have are some projects that I never finished up, but which I think are decent enough to blast on the site. I'll keep you posted on a joint I was thinking of collabing with you on sometime soon.
Thanks for the stop by man.
