Description
I read my poem, I SEE FISH WEEPING, with the biblical account of the first day of creation heard in the background. It's all accompanied by a little affected drum and bass.

Lyrics
I SEE FISH WEEPING
I see
fish
weeping
I hear
trees
sighing
flowers
are desperate-
ly beautiful
disarmed
animals
slip
between the bars
of cages
as large
as cities
and glimpse
dreams
fueled
by decay
and beneath
a sky
expecting
brownouts,
overweight oceans
crawl
toward
obesity.
I used to drink
beer;
now I drink
whiskey.
I see
fish
weeping
I hear
trees
sighing
flowers
are desperate-
ly beautiful
disarmed
animals
slip
between the bars
of cages
as large
as cities
and glimpse
dreams
fueled
by decay
and beneath
a sky
expecting
brownouts,
overweight oceans
crawl
toward
obesity.
I used to drink
beer;
now I drink
whiskey.
