This has a real country feel to it Tim. I love the various tempo changes that shift through the song - reminds me of a band called the Blue aeroplanes, with you sung/spoken vocal. The vocal doesnt seem to quite sit in a few places (may just be eq) and its such a complex structure i need a few more listens, but the final lines are just gorgeous.

No doubt. I just love the line"when i am slipping into darkness
i see you with a candle in your hand" . You're the poet that I read and say "yes! exactly!" more often than not. Yet the way you say it never occurred to me and it sure makes me smile. Thank you.
