I like this rock track(almost punk rock). But what strikes me the most is that to whom you have dedicated it to. Very, very nice. The guitar playing shows how talented you are, i am waiting for your voice....Only small suggestion is to relax the compression on the drums (or replace the drum mics), it makes them sound a bit overly compressed/thin. But still, the track conveys some sort of feeling of anticipation or travelling of AD.

Thanks for your unstinted support Marc. I think that losing Allen is a big loss to MJ's. I like the drum sound at the intro/outro but, as you say, they sound thin when the guitars are placed over them. I just didn't have the technical expertise to fix that - although I did try.

Still got that distinctive Len trippy art/rock vibe to me than metal to be honest..and with the heavier side of pop .. like Blur "song 2" I thought of from the drums.

Loved the screamy, wah soloing and reverby/track echoed wash - over a perhaps a little bit repetitive loop bed..."edgy rock bass 1" perchance? ;o) .. but served it's purpose as nice backdrop for the rather excellent freeflow guitar playing.

Anyhoo, a fine piece to dedicate to the MJ metal master - I just hope you asked for permission to use his photo? No? Oh oh .. *doh* :o)

You are like the Sherlock Holmes of Macjams. I bet you know that I had a hobnob just before I played it and was suffering from a hangover at the same time.
Actually it was just a practice jam that I then tweaked a bit, yes, using Ozone. I am still a bit afraid of it and never sure about whether it's better or worse afterwards.
You just worried the life out of me re: the picture - but just saw it again up in the faves - so big relief (thanks for the heart attack!).

it is great to see the effect my music has had on you. this is a good direction for anyone to explore. heavy, fast music goes to the core of who we are as mammals. it is primal. it is a way to get rid of excess emotions. it is a way to express yourself at a higher volume. i only wished i was able to affect others as i had affected you. thanks again for this tribute. you deserve all the accolades and attention this song brings you.

a nice surprise Allen.
I have always loved fast, heavy, loud music for more years than I care to remember and even played a lot of it in my prime. Lately you have been supplying that need for me. I will never be able to write or play a song in that genre as well as you can though. For that reason I leave it to you and your contemporaries.
I just wish that you would continue to post here so that we can all still enjoy and comment on them. I will look on your other sites from time to time and will keep in touch.
