Description:
This is the first song I've written for the February Album Writing Month challenge (http://www.fawm.org). It is kinda rushed and I really wasn't expecting to be so "cliché" in the opening but oh well. Actually... this is totally not my style of tune. I wonder if the challenge could be forcing me to write differently. So now that this tune is complete (somewhat), it's onto the next one. Only 13 more to go!

Got a bit of a 70s feel here. especially with the keys. I feel the guitar could be a bit louder in the mix to compiments the vocals more. But this is a great effort. Well done.

I really like the keyboards of the 70's... they're just not used much today. I'm not a very good guitar player, hence why I tend to leave it low in the mix... the solo though (made from loops) could be a little higher for sure now that I listen. [ Reply to This ]

Great track. i think deadlines do force you to create in a different style. Its not for everyone, but it does create a go with the moment type of flavor.
