Description
There's an old relic of the British Colonial Era in the middle of Sydney known as the Queen Victoria Building. It's been refurbished as a shopping centre-cum-tourist-trap now.
Once upon a time I was there with ths chick having cups of tea.
It's always about chicks.

For Nina H wherever you are.

Always About Chicks
You said it brother.

Excellent songwriting. Tight vocals and great playing all over. Love the bass sound and the lead's insane.

I've downloaded this song.

Bass
Heh. It's kind of a bass-guitar-centric song in parts. Thanks for dropping in for a listen.

Thanks man
I've been meaning to come to this comment for a while. Yeah, I really dig the big brit bass thing with the mid-range going. Sort of a signature sound for a certain era of rock, so I try to get that in to certain tracks. But I never made that connection consciously so thanks for pointing it out. It's an interesting observation.

The hits keep on coming
The beginnning/bkg tracks reminded me of early-ish XTC (circa Drums and Wires), but not in any aping sort of way. You're great, art, just need to remember to catch your stuff as you post it. Really great, fave-artist man.

I played in bands as a teen into my 20s. Then I went to Film School. Never stopped playing music through the years. Then, one day I found Sound Track in amongst my Final Cut Pro software and I started digitising and re-mastering old bits of recording... [see more]
