Description:
Many years ago a young rock and roller thought it would be a blast to go and sing with the old people in the church choir. What started as a whim ended up seating me next to the great amateur tenor Carmine Delucia. I never had voice lessons, so I just tried to sing like Carmine. His rendition of "Oh Holy Night" at Christmas time would have the whole church in tears. I don't pretend for a minute to be an experienced tenor, but I love the piece "Nessun Dorma"made famous by Pavarotti and lately by Paul Potts of British Idol fame. Found the MIDI track for the instruments on line and the rest is yours truly.

Don't give me too much credit. My voice is so out of condition I had to record it in sections over two days as my voice weakened. Thank you so much for your ever present ear and encouragement.

And I don't even like Turandot... although my favorite opera of all time is probably Puccini's "La Boheme".

Excellent singing here, sir! Sheesh, you got yourself some lungs and some control. Quite an enjoyable listen! You may be setting yourself up now, we're going to want more singing like this from you, please. :-) Can you sing some Tosca? :-)

I only wish my voice was in shape to sing the entire piece and hit everything. But the challenge of putting this together has me considering doing scales every day for a month just to see what happens.
