Well put together....
I think the melody, or maybe melodies, that you're singing across the groove is really right and really great...

I think the vocal effect(s), which seems to include the pitch correcting thing used as an effect, is neat in this context. I'm with ledeb, though, in being eager to hear your natural voice in another song on another day...

I like the 'heartbreak-over-funk' lyrics... You might like to listen to the MacJams work of SlimGirlFat, who sometimes operates in a similar territory... But, yes, the lyrics are good, and the sense that you didn't bind your lyrical sense to some arbitrary form really works here...

Little crits...There are a couple points where it seems like there's a little whisper of distortion...seems like a little more in my left earphone than the right... Might be the way a loop is sliced, or it could just be something in the mix getting too hot... Although the mix as a whole doesn't seem like the level is all that high...

And beyond that, a minute fourteen is just too short... I'll await the extended dance remix...

now, hear me clearly....you DO NOT want to be a child star. This causes one's life to be a big mess o trouble. But I bet if you hone this gift (and this song shows a GREAT gift) when you are a bit older, you will be able to have a career in music.

Please accept my total respect for this cool piece you created. Practice, and write some more please.

Short and sweet. I really want to hear the extended version. Especially since I really started to dig that flute sound and then the song stopped. I agree with the SlimGirlFat direction... It'd be neat to hear you both on a song. I can only imagine that with such a virtuoso dad, that there is plenty of talent running through you, girl. Go on with your rock star self! Looking forward to more of your music.
