atmospheric piece Bill and very impressive piano. Love the way the orchestration builds in such a subtle manner.

the piano is a mixture of live and a whole lot of editing after the fact. a lot.

that arpeggio thing is actually three melodies interwoven - further into the piece, guitar and bells pick out notes from the pattern to expose the melodies.

i had this song wander through several "rooms" - that erhu synth is really haunting (to me anyway) it seems to tell stories all by itself.

it's that erhu - sometimes it sounds to me like a badly played violin - but other times it has a far east primal feel to it. that primal feel is a core concept here.

the odd title is a remnant of seeking a title with DNA in it (backwards here). that didn't quite pan out though (no explanation for the S).

i was going for how evolution is the ultimate, and oldest, dating service. we are all the result of thousands of couples that sought each other. weird idea i guess...

but not ready to give up a last bit of hope so there is the seeking, the odd occasion here and there and then just patient wandering and wondering.
