You've got a gift for melody...

Your voice is very nice on this one. I like that you change the way that you use it across the course of the song... I like the 'la la la la' bits... I like the handclaps, if that's what they are, right at the beginning, and the arpeggiating whatever-it-is at the beginning, too...

You also seem to have a gift for being serious with a sense of humor...

You write a strong lyric...

Suggestions? On my headphones, the vocal could come forward just a little bit, for clarity. Not so far that it hangs above the other tracks, but enough so that I'm not sitting here wishing for posted lyrics. Second suggestion/request: post the lyrics. And, although I'm pretty sure that you want the abrupt ending, I think stopping the music and letting the master fader come down slowly allows for something that sounds like a dramatic full stop but still has some 'air' in it.

Looks like I'll have to check back at dinner to see if there's a third--or a fourth--song up...

cute and fresh style. Not only do I enjoy the bouncy backing music idea, but I'm really intrigued by your syncopated singing on this, the timing is what makes this a treat. I agree with Ed (EJH) above that your voice could come up a little in volume here, you have a nice singing voice, so don't be shy to boost it a bit. Also, I can hear noticeable clicks as you cut/edit your vocal parts... as you learn more you will find out how to smooth those out a little more so they are not so noticeable. This has great promise, and I hope you work on it more... sounds cool! Welcome to Macjams!
