80s groove &mdash 02/10/08 - 09:41:09 AM
this is great, real 80's vibe... i can see crockett and tubbs driving around to this ... you should do some vox for this, it's a great tune.

Like the guitar especially!

Nice one Mark &mdash 02/10/08 - 11:07:25 AM
I like the freshness of this sound. Like travelling along an open road in the sun in an open top, The whole sound is put together well. Love the keyboard and the guitar accompaniment and the nice solo guitar too, regards M

Nice work as always! &mdash 02/10/08 - 12:24:32 PM
This has that 80's vibe that I would expect from you but it also would fit in the next Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts.

I think its great with or without vocals..."trippy" is the word that comes to mind.

Thanks for sharing,
Tobin

Cool track &mdash 02/10/08 - 01:41:35 PM
I like the tunes from the 80's. That was my growing up decade when I was innocent before I joined the chemical generation of the 90's. This is a very nice track and puts forward your emotions very well. Nice one, well done.

wow &mdash 02/11/08 - 08:36:40 AM
Musically this is a stellar work. Just beautiful.

One production note, I'd go for a little more separation. Move (pan) the piano a little left and the guitar a little right (a least for the chords, you could centre it again for the solo bit). That'll make room for yours or someone else's fabulous voice.

Oh and call me slow, I just now connected you with your icomp persona. Good to see ya.

Squier is cool &mdash 02/12/08 - 09:53:47 AM
I've got a Squier too, it's a fine guitar . I would've liked some vocals concerning this beach chick but it's still a cool sound,

Do I Dare Comment Here <> &mdash 02/12/08 - 09:23:35 PM
She means everything to me,
Like the sun setting on the sea.
Everyday I want to be with you,
Just let me paint your sky blue.

Let me hold my arms around your waist,
Sure, your can cry on my shoulders today.
Your lips are gentle and soft to kiss,
Like the waves splashing the Ocean mist.

I saw you on the beach one summer day,
I still remember the words today.
I waited by the rocks hoping you show,
I still go there and hope, you never know.

Pros: Well structure (i.e. Intro->Verse->Chorus-Verse-Chorus->Bridge->Verse->Chorus->Ending)
Tight rhythm section (Rhythm Guitar, Bass Drums), good use of percussion (congas, Tambourine)crystal clear Lead guitar, sooth synth-sweeps filling in the gaps tight wind the piece nicely. Great break that clearly establishes the ending.

Cons: N/A

Suggestion: What happened, you didn't feel like singing Mark? :)

Hey........... &mdash 02/17/08 - 06:23:10 AM
You do great work combining real instruments and loops. Great balance.
This is just begging for singing........perhabs you could collab with a female voice, I think that would sound fantastic.

Across the Room... &mdash 03/08/08 - 05:50:41 AM
This is such a great song. Being a guitarist I really like the Fender. Could see me walking into a club in slow motion while this is playing in the background while people float by me on my way to see my girl. Very cool. New fav.
