Description:
I placed this song under rock for lack of a better description. It has a bit of jazz and a bit of latin. I hope you like it.
The trumpet is courtesy of my friend James Calore (Bass2x).

Lyrics:
SKETCHES
By©Bernardo Barreto

The glass is broken
I'm bleeding
My skin feeds you
I know.

You are my fear
You're also my desire
I live of you, you live of me
Of our skin and bones.

(solo)

No need to close the door
No need to open the window
Just turn around
And look in front of you.

You will see
The sketches of my life
Drawn over that wall
With my blood.

Thanks Feter &mdash 02/10/08 - 07:11:19 PM
Yeah, I usually would have gone for some guitar solo in the middle and some in the intro but this time I wanted to try something different (at least for me). Bass2x (James) plays a great trumpet and it was worth giving it enough room to move.

Really enjoyed &mdash 02/11/08 - 01:38:54 PM
Nice and dynamic. Has a almost Santana feel to it. Maybe Dylan playing with Santana minus his guitar. Trumpet makes up for it.

Very, very mellow and cool. Well-produced.

Great stuff!

Great trumpet really adds a nice contrast to the track, and B's great vox, winner!

True invention &mdash 02/12/08 - 03:23:23 PM
Like some mad soundtrack

I love the barely audible guitar riffs and the trumpet is of course very good. Dark lyrics.......

Excellent

Hmmm
seams I recognize you from anotherp lace my friend.
I have not spent much time at icomp but I remember your stuff for sure.
I have done a few things with James. He is a great addition to most any tune. He has a great touch in this tune.
I dig the guitar stuff and your vocal makes this so spooky. The orhgan chord also smoke rising.

i love the sense of drama you give the vocal - and love it when you go crazy with the "woah"s and other little embellishments like ooos and ahs. musical backing is quite sexy. cool trip!

Everything about this song is wonderful! The trumpet is a treat, guitar very catchy and the rhythms well chosen.

Do I sense a influence of WAR here? Thanks for your long ago given advice to check out War, I really dig it!
