Description
This is a beat that is dear to my heart. I made it the other morning, ad God blessed everything to come together. This is the first time that I heard the melody and the beat in my head and was able to successfully transfer into real music. The lyrics are part of two different poems or raps that i wrote. One is explaining the ministry of this life and the other is a Valentines to my mother. Be blessed ya'll Christ Reigns!

but for hip-hop rap, i think it is nice not to hear about you having to kill a brother in order to get some respect. very nice. couple of tips if i may. first and foremost; pop filter. if you hold the mic or have it on a stand, there is no difference. take a wire hanger, some panty hose, and duct tape.
bend the hanger into a loop about 4-5 inches in diameter. leave a 'tail' of hanger to attatch to the stand, or for you to hang onto while holding the mic. take one leg of the panty hose and pull it around the loop, cutting off and duct taping the end of it at the lowest point of the loop as close as you can to the wire, so you dont cut off any of the sound hole. if you have a stand, duct tape it to the stand in a way that you can adjust it in front of the mic, and move it closer or farther away to your comfort. if you are holding it, make sure you have at least an inch of air space from your face to the mic. and try not to have the filter touch the mic, or it wont work right. you could also duct tape the filter to the mic directly, i have done that before as well. i like to hold the mic sometimes when i sing, so that works for me.
one more tip;
experiment with the vocal compression settings, the track reverb, and the eq settings. for vocals, i like a nice vocal room reverb, or a drum room reverb. i dont use the reverb sliders, or the echo sliders, cause i dont think you can control them enough. try and get a touch more high end out of you vocal track. it sounds a bit muddy, and flat. your performance will go from night to day with less "p"ops, and more shine on the eq. great stuff, and keep experimenting.
