Lyrics
i remember when we were friends
night was forever
summer had no end
maybe it’s childish to say
but maybe being older is the price we have to pay
what a thing to lose
all your summer days thrown away to fools

i remember when sunlight blinds our tired eyes
day was afternoon like us and
autumn never said goodbye

look at us now
all tired and torn
a running races to win
confused since the day we were born

i wouldn’t blame you for giving up
i wouldn’t blame you for trying
you’re good friend, you know?
a good friend’s worth fighting for... hmm...

Love the vibe
The vocal dirtiness sorta' kills the mood.Too much distortion on vocals in spots but love the guitar work, style and delivery.Cool tune which would shine much brighter with a vocal overhaul.Still much enjoyed.

Blessings,

Nice
I love the feel of the song as well as the lyrics. Very meaningful and I love the guitar work as well - it drew me in from the very beginning. I do agree with the others about the vocals - might need a better microphone or something, but then we're all on tight budgets here anyhow. I do love how you varied the stereo position on all the guitar parts so as not to interfere with one another and the vocals. Great track, thanks for posting!
