Description:
A song about a guy who gets dumped.
I am just beginning to learn how to write songs, consider this a beginner's effort!

This is a lot better &mdash 02/15/08 - 01:58:47 PM
than my beginner's efforts! I like the changes on the guitar, and that rhythm suits the song well. Lyrics are good, and you perform it well. Nice work. Peace.

Damn fine for a beginners effort- sure you didn't skip a couple of grades?

From a songwriting and performance perspective this is very solid. I'd take some time to work on the mix- lots of folks here willing to help- that would really make this song shine. For example, the guitars sound pretty clear but the vocals sound a bit muddy and subdued... you may want to add some mid and hi range EQ to brighten them some.

Terrific song with even more potential!

more thanks &mdash 02/15/08 - 11:00:30 PM
thanks man!
i'm not too confident about the singing so that's probably why i buried it a bit.
i've been playing music to myself as a hobby for a long time, but at age 40 decided to try writing some of my own stuff. midlife crisis?
