Description:
This is a smooth collab between ringo, slimgirlfat, penguinsocks, and McBoy. They had me provide a bit of mixing a while back and we were waiting for some more parts to arrive that never appeared. Ringo asked me to post the song in its current state, which I think is a pretty sharp ensemble piece as is!

Thanks Chikdude &mdash 09/25/04 - 02:29:34 AM
The missing name on the credits was McBoy. Thanks to
everyone for putting so much work in. Xverion, amigo, I
was hoping to slip some of your vocals in at the end
(anything to get rid of mine...). Got that file anywhere?

Thanx for putting McDude on the list of credits Chikperson. Really well done
everybody! Name for the band..Slimring Mcpengchik? Hmmm maybe not,
sounds like something out of an Austin Powers movie..Anyone got any ideas?

Classy Classic, is this &mdash 09/25/04 - 09:00:55 AM
Your Girls, have found IT. It, being the purrrrfect
complamentrary, Harmonic pitch and tonal qualitie. I'm
stunned. More, More, More. Indepentantly, well your
average, but together your goddesses. Truly a powerful
team. Love ya.

The Chikoppi production has great quality and the Ringo
voice, along with the verbiage, made me think along the
line of Frank Zappa. Really fun. I'm doing the down load
with this one, so I can say, "I heard you when."

"when things get rough... &mdash 09/25/04 - 09:58:48 AM
you can always love yourself" -- I LOVE this line! lol This
is a surprising little number. While I'm not a huge jazz fan
(the guy I'm dating wouldn't like to hear that since he's
got a degree in jazz guitar--oops!), I was totally tapping
along to this one. Fantastic vocals, Slimmie! Fantastic
guitar. Fantastic songwriting. Only thing: I wanted to hear
more finger snapping during the chorus. That was such a
nice touch! Great collab all!

Power to the People! &mdash 09/25/04 - 10:09:35 AM
The distance that separated those of you composing
this project didn't stop you from producing this
wonderful collaboration. Bright and light, it's cheery
bounce and vibrant vocal harmonies culminate in a
delightful dance of a tasteful audible delicacy. An
excellent illustration of the creative possibilities
available to the new musical revolution. Recent
discussions of loop wars and the MacJams decline
seem so trivial compared to this shining example of
how GB and MJ are bringing people together to make
music. My hat is off to all of you involved.
Outstanding! May I possibly suggest some artwork
that includes elements of each participants sig pic?

Does Frank Zappa live? &mdash 09/29/04 - 06:55:53 PM
Kinda sounds like his softer stuff in places, some of the lyrics too. Of course, I say this with all due admiration. Well done effort on all your parts.

Very cool &mdash 10/02/04 - 05:36:21 PM
Loved the song. Great job on the production, sounds like
it came outta a professional studio. Reminds me a little of
Lambert, Hendrix, and Ross.

What happened? &mdash 10/18/04 - 04:57:11 PM
I love this song as you all probably know, Ringo had me sing the vocals to it a while back, but this is just...I don't know. I like all you guys, you're all talented, and I love your music but this just doesn't sound right at all. I think it should be redone, just my opinion.
