Nice &mdash 02/16/08 - 02:07:28 PM
Wow, love this song, I hadn't heard the new one but I love this version. Didgeridoo adds an exotic/natural feel to the song as well, and I think it goes very well with everything. I love the work with the chord progression and the ending works very well. I do want the drums to be a bit more pronounced, especially the kick. It's just missing that "thump" that trance has always got. Great song, keep them coming and thanks for sharing! [ Reply to This ]
Thank you :) &mdash 02/17/08 - 09:14:03 AM
I think I messed up the mastering on this somewhat. I completely agree with the kick drum part... I think I need to go and get a better blend of the didge as well. It fades in a couple spots it shouldnt.... I also didnt use any efx or EQ on the didge track just to see how it sat. It did ok but still... too far out of the room with the rest of the track. More work ! lol...
Thanks again for your comment and advice. I love comments like that:)

Cool yes, trance no &mdash 02/17/08 - 03:18:06 PM
This has some very cool textures. You have a lot going on, more than in trance, at least as far as I know trance.
Isn't trace somewhat limited? 130bpm and the same overpowering kick everywhere? Unless you're dead set on making money by selling this to DJs (or spinning it yourself) I'd just accept this for the cool piece of music it is, and forget the idea of turning it into trance.
Very nice stuff. I'm looking forward to more tracks by you. [ Reply to This ]
Very interesting :) &mdash 02/19/08 - 09:02:27 AM
I have a serious hard time trying to figure out my genres lol. I think I agree with you for the most part. I think I want to just clean this up some (it is way more muddy than it should be), but I will probably also up the volume on the drums in the first half and a few other things need tweaking. I think youre right though about not forcing it into a "trance" piece.
Thanks muchly Vic!
...and hey! was I supposed to collab with you on something under Didge Ache? If youre still up for it so am I! [ Reply to This ]
OOoooh &mdash 04/19/08 - 08:27:35 AM
I like very much this rework. The didge adds a brilliant layer and melody. This track has been enjoyed greatly as well. [ Reply to This ]

This is just a killer piece of music. The didge just never gets old, you keep enough going on around it. My only suggestion - after the fade out and back in - around 4:00 maybe? - I thought the volumes on the guitar and synths could have been up a bit. They kind of got lost - but they were really cool little riffs! The fade out and back in was an awesome touch. overall this is just a wonderful chillout track. Thanks! [ Reply to This ]
Lovely! &mdash 05/21/08 - 08:39:51 AM
Thank you soooo much Shay! That was a great comment and exactly what I love to read. I know exactly the spot your talking about fixed it, as well as an ebb in the didge track near the start. So happy to see such exuberance, again thank you most kindly and oodles of inspiration to you:) [ Reply to This ]
