Description:
This was originally recorded with one of my bands. It was a poor recording so I thought I'd re-record in Garageband. The vocals are written by my friend and were originally performed by him as well. I did the vocals on this version.
This was one of my favorite songs from this group. We didn't stay together for too long so it's nice to get these songs out.
Thanks for listening.

Lyrics:
Well I wake this morning knowing this could be the day
When I began to move beyond the realm of the physical
So I masturbate, and procreate, and smoke a lot, and stay up late
And all the things your parents hate, I’ve got to live before it’s too late

And I’m awake, I feel this suffering, so I’m alive

Timeclock ticking, Lifeclock ticking

To live each moment, as it were the very last I
I comprehend that I’ve been born from the cosmos
All of this is just illusion, leads to only mass confusion
I’ve got to make to think and know, I’ve got to be to live and grow

And I walk on a tightrope of time, I feel my life go by
And I wait, the glass reflects the light, I watch the sun go by

I can’t escape the fact stars and I are the same
Someday I’ll return, from where I once came
I wonder will I find, What is wrong with me, to only make me better
I try to live right, yet I feel my…

Timeclock ticking, Lifeclock Bulletducker
Timeclock ticking, Lifeclock Bulletducker

Well I adapt to my environment
There is no good or bad just molecules bouncing around
Shifting through the universe, trajectory lets me disperse
Accumulate galactic mass, my beating heart I know wont last

Thanks Tom. I always have fun playing and listening to this one. I think I hear parts I might mix a lot differently now after posting it though.
I need to come over to your place and check your stuff out. I've been meaning to for a while.

The guitars in the verse really make this song for me. I knew I wanted that sound, the rest of the song just seemed to write itself.
Thanks R.

no doubt. Did you program those drums or get loops. Either way it must have taken you a month! Great sound, though. Worth the meticulous effort.

Thanks for the listen. The drums are drums on demand sounds. For the most part I just used the one shots and made my own drum lines. There are only a couple spots where I used a full loop. It did take a while but probably only an hour.

Appreciate the comments man.

Nick, This one is a real pile driver. I can see how you liked it the best. The bridge is brutal. Awesome drums. Nice mix too.....

Thanks for the feedback Phil. I'm going to post a few more tracks from this project soon. I like the drive they had. I think the original vocalist might do the lyrics as well.
Later man.

Wow Nick Flash,

This heavy heavy crunchfest of yours has probably upset the neighbors in a few homes. I love everything about this song. Guitars shredding, Drums pounding vocals screaming. Excellent!

I've downloaded this one too.

Thanks man!

Bob

This one is definitely heavy. If I played it live at my current home I probably would wake the neighbors. I used to have a soundproofed studio in the basement of my first house. Man I miss that house!
Glad you liked it man. It's nice to hear if one of my songs has been downloaded.

Thanks
