Lyrics
I will give my love an apple without e'er a core,
I will give my love a house without e'er a door,
I will give my love a palace wherein he may be,
And he may unlock it without e'er a key.

Like how this
starts out. A special thing indeed to hear a female singing here at MJ! Because plain and simple not enough of delightful voices like this here. Enjoy the theme pic as well.

Good words, lyrics. The music adds so much of course.

Thanks for sharing!!

Bit o' folk
Glad you like it. The lyrics and music are an old folk piece. I only did the first half of the lyric in this arrangement, however. It's a riddle song and the second half of the original song answers the riddle. Didn't want to give too much away. :)

Cheers

folk tune
I dig your style. Unique. Meerkatish. What's the second half of the riddle? I'd like to hear it.

Ze rest of ze song
My head is the apple without e'er a core,
My mind is the house without e'er a door.
My heart is the palace wherein he may be,
And he may unlock it without any key.

I just can't bring myself to describe my head as an apple without a core, somehow.

Cheers.

Next step
Fabulous vocals. As someone who listens to tons of songs here, your use of loops does not do your concept or vocals justice. Consider building something from scratch without loops. Most all the loops you used are overused recognizable ones that make the track seem stock, even tho your vocals and concept are really good.
