Your song is over long periods like a radio-drama. Thrilling stuff, excellent use of sounds and loops. Enjoyed the colorful trip :-) Bravo!! [ Reply to This ]

Great &mdash 02/19/08 - 11:42:39 AM
I can imagine the story, while listening... It only needs pictures, then it's a short movie... Good sound effects....
I get good inspiration by hearing this.... That music not always have to follow traditional rules...
Great work....

Hapless Harry &mdash 02/20/08 - 09:30:38 AM
trying to understand why everyone else can do this life... Excellent portrayal of what can happen when a clueless guy mouths off at the nightclub, then thinks he can saunter out without trouble following. I think he gets back up and whistles his way home; at least I hope so. There has to be hope for all us misfits. :-) [ Reply to This ]
three genres in the first minute &mdash 02/20/08 - 09:39:11 AM
Genre: mixed
Description: A rough review from one listen. Listening to this, a seemingly, random assortment of genre's come together in first quick, then slow succession. It was hard to understand what the various sections had to do with% [ Reply to This ]
woooweeee &mdash 02/20/08 - 07:49:05 PM
super groovy. excellent blend of experimental fx with the straight up jazz.
The jazz parts sound real time playin? with the song description I could use this as my anthem. I guess my fav part is the dramatic stuff at around the 4 minute mark. zindeed unique.
Long live MST 2000 :-) [ Reply to This ]

This is very cool &mdash 02/23/08 - 02:16:52 PM
You absolutely paint a sonic picture here. I was pulled in and enthralled, lost in the imagery and associations this soundscape brought up in my mind. In fact, it kind of reminded of this one night...Cinematic, evocative, dark and intriguing, this is a great example of a creative at work. What else is in there? Can't wait!
Nicely done. Peace. [ Reply to This ]

The parts better than the whole? &mdash 03/04/08 - 08:24:22 AM
I really enjoyed the sax playing and the orchestral sections. Personally, I found the non-jazz interruptions to detract, regardless of the storyline. Altho some of the interludes were interesting, especially the cinematic orchestral nightmare part, which was very well written and arranged (and, boy, it sounded like a real orchestra - was it?). As a piece of music, consider developing the jazz section and film score/classical sections more fully and within their separate genres. They are both nicely done. [ Reply to This ]
