Description:
This is a song against racism..
I wrote it more than 10 years ago, but the issue is still very relevant. I hate the racial tendencies in Dutch politics nowadays. People are really stupid to think a country will be better of by sending all foreigners home.
It was recorded on tape, on a 4 track fostex X15.
Not many people have ever heard this track...
though the soundquality isn't super, i thought I put it up here...
the guitars express my rage
KC

Lyrics:
Bald heads, no brains

well you're right, when you say
The world is full today
You're right when you say
So full of fools today

See their stubborn heads
Wavin'with those flags
Shouting loud and gone astray
They must have lost their way

Bald heads, no brains
Their slogans, so insane
White power is their aim
Gonna set the world into flames

See their stubborn heads
Wavin'with those flags
Shouting loud and gone astray
They must have lost their way

Bridge:
There's room for everyone
A place under the sun
Why can't we have some fun (have some fun)

Hardware:
A lot of Fender
Fostex X15
Roland drumcomputer

Great &mdash 02/18/08 - 03:22:43 PM
KC this is a great rockin song. Superb lyrics, I like your concern. The godchild of my wife - her father comes from Gabun. He has to travel a lot cause he works as an engineer on big ships. And just because he is black (his native language is French but he is German citizen) - always the most fussy customs-checks - no difference whether in Germany or in the Netherlands. One can't believe that racism is alive in Europe today ...
Your music is fantastic
Peace,
Andreas

piece Cees, and your lyrics are awesome...Racism should'nt be existin' in our free world...but unfortunately it still resides in thought and act...your song makes the new racism known and should be banned...
Thanks for the music and specially for the message...!

Great song KC &mdash 02/18/08 - 04:02:15 PM
Racism is just fear of what's different. It can go from schools to governments. Some groups are more open than others and a lot of political correctness is just racism in disguise. I think it's great that we can put our thoughts and beliefs into music. Good work man!

Diversity means safety and survival for a species. One of nature's great laws. Natural laws cannot be broken. No Brains indeed.

Way to growwwwwl on those strings &mdash 02/20/08 - 02:22:26 PM
Super intentions, super performance. Love the tune, KC, though your vox could be a little more "step away from the mic and scream it" emphatic to match the awe-inspiring chomp of that mighty guitar growl. (Sounds like vintage pre some-Girls Keith in several places.) I finally retired my analog Fostex, sold it after I bought my G5 imac in '04. Gotta be a telecaster... but with a humbucker? Great to hear you here.

In fact, Bob, it was a musicmaster, indeed with a humbucker
(good ears :-) )

Good song &mdash 02/21/08 - 10:02:32 PM
It may be a bit overly processed for my taste but I like the overall message and the structure.

Your voice sounds a bit like one of my favorite macjammers named Dennis James. You might enjoy some of hit stuff

The lyrics and vocals are good on this song, but your right... the raw power of the song comes out in your guitar work. Nicely done!
