Description
This is some of my "bulerias por granainas". Bulerias refers to a rythm (fast 12), and granainas to a style of playing from Granada a city of Southern, Spain ( province Andalucia). This is a track that was cut out of video I did of me playing it. You can see the video at my MacJams home page. The name, "la bolsilla y piedra", means "the pouch and stone", so named because it is related to my archeology studies.

Thanks Feter,...
I got the tone just the way I wanted it after much work. I removed the strumming and two falsettas (melodies) from earlier recordings, but made a new falsetta. It is short, but as much as I like getting lost in a long piece that reaches deeper and deeper, I find a short piece sometimes attractive.

I loved the video
Ian, you play so effortlessly, so relaxed, like you are one with your guitar. This is a very pretty piece, Since it is short, I can hear this embedded in something else, making a story. Fine playing. :-)

Yes,..
The Guitar is a Montalvo Concert Flamenco, from Mexico, but there is an outlet in Berkelry, California. Here is a link to it:

Very nice.

Hi

this is very nice to listen to as well, it makes me feel like I am sitting under a shady tree and the rays of the sun is shining down on me. Now that can't be bad. Its freezing cold here where i live.

Peace
Dee

Thanks Dee,...
It is a little rainy here today, but more or less warm usually, here in Southern Cal, but not hot, just right. Thank you for sharing the imagery you get from this. All I know is that this obscure form is now my favorite to play and I am not sure why.
