Description:
This track was aimed to be a bit more progressive and less thumping then Goa Way. Also I got inspired by the arpeggio forum submit, so there is a little lead from the vst instrument called Arpy. Hope you like it.

Hi

Wow yet another cool sound love the rythem I love the way you put the voice overs in they make me laugh too. And my two ears are very happy also. But unfortunately no money to go out tonight dancing, last time I went out after listening to your great music I was dancing round my handbag on the floor like you do lol And it suddenly got nicked. No only joking. haha

Peace
Dee.

nice &mdash 02/24/08 - 02:09:40 AM
This is a great mix, but in my opinion i think that kick drum needs to thump a little more, you should EQ it to bring the bass up
cause its kinda like hypnotiq and my ears really want to hear more of it
but fantastic, brings me back to my old days, i love the change at 3:58
i just want to blast this in my car

Thanks HypnotiQ Sorcere &mdash 02/24/08 - 07:15:17 AM
You are right about the drum, it does get drowned out by the other sounds. The next track will be better and you will be able to hear the beat. Thanks for listening and commenting. Hope to see you again

A good thumper &mdash 02/24/08 - 11:12:57 AM
I disagree with Hypno somefin. The bass is alright, perhaps compression could be used to give it more room, but it is loud enough, so is the beat. I thought the beginning was kind of slow somewhere, but you did hide some nifty breaks. Kept me going through the song. Mmm, I just ain't a trance man. Considering the amount of d/l, dang, you hit the spot. I really did like the arpy thing at the end, made my brain explode ;-). Nice chord progression!

Trancey &mdash 02/25/08 - 09:38:08 AM
Great bass in this! Love the minimalism. It's trance in the "old" sense of the word - ninties trance. Trance has unfortunately come to refer to cheesey euro disco. I suppose I would classify this more as techno - but maybe someone hipper to the trip would disagree. I like the way sounds come in and out of this one, a bit like transeurope express.

Thanks for listening and commenting, hope you become a regular. I'm very pleased that you like the track, and yes its trance old style, bordering on minimal psy trance. That was what I had in mind. Cheers once again for listening.

Do you ever get your stuff played in clubs, because I could completely imagine dancing for ages to this. It's definitely hypnotic and I can't stop moving here in the office and it makes me want to get dressed up and go OUT.

You've got a lot of control here. Those silly sounds shouldn't work, yet they really do. You developed a real consistency with them that turned them into a vocabulary rather than a gimmick and they help keep things really cohesive through the musical changes in the song.

Good one!

Thanks Lisa &mdash 03/02/08 - 07:01:08 AM
No, I don't my stuff played in clubs, but would love to. I'm realy pleased that you like it and you get the fact that the silly sounds are almost like instruments playing their part. Really appreciate you listening and commenting Lisa, hope to see you again.

Alright, first effective use of the photocopy loop I've heard yet. Build up, this is a very psy-trancey tune, too bad the genre listings are limited. Your samples are well placed, this tune is structured very well. No Complaints on production, except maybe the bass could be mixed in a little bit stronger. One trick I learned for tunes that have a very consistant bass pulse is to bounce the kick drum track separately against a bounce of the rest of the mix. Then mix the two together with a peak limiter on the kick drum track so it cuts through the mix. Just a suggestion. Maybe you'll give this a shot on your next tune.

Great track &mdash 03/21/08 - 04:31:46 PM
Nicely done here Diviner. I have to say I wish I had your grasp and expertise when it comes to mixing but I'm still learning. Love the last two parts. Keepin' it fresh and adding something a little different. Great job here

I agree with saying you should maybe submit to a couple clubs or maybe even online techno stations. *Shrug* I think they'd get played. Great song here, I love it!
