nice
song. love the sentiment. not sure if this more indie rock or more folk rock. who cares, great song. i love that picture too (it's porn for musicians - i can just imagine how that thing would feel in my hands).

thanks for the comment. It is probably more indie rock or just indie, but like you said who cares. too many labels for everything today anyway.

I used the pinhole mic. I like that in the room, raw sound and feeling. Glad you liked it.

I have
an identical guitar to that in my cupboard from the early 70's with a broken neck - must try to get it fixed.
Great song and very well performed - very enjoyable listen.
Cheers

A perfect slice
You into Sun Volt? Anyway, I felt very comfortable with this song form the opening notes. I could surround myself with this at.country slice of life (or egg?). I'm going to remember to get some more. Everything's perfect here.

Tim
Sometimes I hear a John Fogarty thing going on in your voice. I think your singing is good and will continue to improve. Try opening your throat at the the choke point (the back of your mouth). See if that doesn't create a little depth and resonance. Don't create tension (you don't want a tight throat), just a little space. Your rythyms are compelling and your style is enjoyable.
Keep on,
Stephen
