Description:
The answer to the forth coming hisss is turn you volume down a little. Made changes Please Let Me know If Things Are Right. /// Thank U...
A song of someone in the past with thoughts that linger into the present.

I have had an old recorder laying aroud and finally found someting to use it with. A challange to fake playing a D# recorder in F# until the chours on this one./
I really NEED COMMENTS on this as to the tonal quality. In production I usually use two different head sets. A cheap set for general play and a better set for hearing how it will sound after the filter effects in the iTunes change -over. This time i didn't didn't use the better set until after it was on post with JM"s. It sounds a little thin in quality. How does it sound to you?

Lyrics:
Lady Of Love

So be the hours
She sits with her showers
And puts lovely flower
In her hair

Just like a princess
she serves up cheese-blintzes
in era do fashion
That is only hers'

She winks, blowing Kisses
Promises bliss says'
The answer to the guess is
that you are here

I feel your thoughts of me
For I often think of you Chorus
Maybe we think of each other
At the very same time

You asked her come with you
She gives a look through you
And that's were you both do
To this very day

I know your think of me
For I often think of you Chorus
Maybe we think of each other
At the very same time

This lady of love
You have given your glove
It's you she thinks of
As you do with her

I know your think of me
For I often think of you Chorus
Maybe we think of each other
At the very same time

Nice...but that buzz! &mdash 09/26/04 - 09:03:31 PM
the main problem I see with this is the noise gate or
something. Your mic has a bad hum on it. It gets worse
when you layer vocals, etc. When everything is in the mix,
the generated tone from the buzz is so bad it hurts my
ears in the headphones. If you can fix that buzz, you've
got a nice song.

sorry man.. &mdash 09/26/04 - 09:59:28 PM
it's still there!! keep at it-this is a really nice song. maybe
ask around for mic advice or something. there are a few
people who have worked really hard to figure out mic
setups. you have a great voice

Well Blamm and score, I just booted the song up, played it twice and other
than in the very begining where the gate didn't quite hold back. I can't get
anything at all as to what your getting. The only Buzz, I get is from knowing
that the frets and fret board both have grooves in them from playing the
guitar for thirty + years and need to be replaced. But in this piece i tried
extra hard to control that with diligent consentration and extra pressure on
the strings while playing. I'm at a loss in to what your hearing and what i
heard. Acctualy it sounded a little better to me after posting. But then, I
have wood monkey ears and their not as I wish they were.

Thanks guys for the compliments also, they help too.

Unfortunately... &mdash 09/26/04 - 10:16:08 PM
I don't think you can fix this in the mix by looking for
spikes and such...this sounds like a problem coming from
the mic when you recorded (bad grounding or something)
that you can't get rid of without recutting the tracks that
use the mic. I'd recommend upgrading the mic...doesn't
have to be fancy, but I think it will make a huge impact.

Sounds like... &mdash 09/26/04 - 10:42:23 PM
...the buzz, or hiss, is overuse of "noise gate". Still, a
wonderful song. Nicely performed.

Thanks amigo, i tried to keep it, the gate, back as much as I could until a line
hum came in. This is the first time i've had this problem but it hasn't been
terribly noticable to me. Then I guess my built in filters now, in my head,
inhibit my hearing what really is.

I sold all my real equipment a few years ago when moving south. Stupid me I
didn't expect anything like GarageBand to me coming along in my life time.
Oh well next time.

so sweet &mdash 09/30/04 - 10:47:21 AM
kind of a european "norweigin wood: thing with andeas flute and paul simon straight forward presentation. really nice. lots of hiss, but it made it seem live. really careful light arrangement. and i like how you did the heart with your font. how did you do that?

Hi Suzanne, when i first wrote this I was inspired by a new cord book and
before studying the pages, filled with enthuseiasm, I started playing around
with od quasi classical cordage. This song developed in the 70's and your
recall is close to what i thought it was. A mix of Norweigen Back Street Girl.
Neither was intended. It was just the ether of the times. I never did open the
book again.

Pardon the hiss, I don't hear it as clearly, apperantly, as others. Many years of
music and twenty years of hammer work over steel, making armor for
medieval style sports, has frazzeled some of my hearing capability. It'll all be
better next life time. lol

As for the ♥ it's in TextEdit.

Thank you for your consideration and the missive.

Not technical. &mdash 10/03/04 - 01:34:46 PM
I don't know from all the technical things people are
saying, I just know this is a very pretty song.

splendid... &mdash 11/07/04 - 10:57:50 PM
yes, i'm sure you've heard it a million times before. the noise gate on the vocals acts up a bit, but since i'm into more abstract noises, i kinda dig it. i enjoyed the tune fully. i believe the chorus is my favorite because the overall heightend speech and intellectual tone (which i love by the way) contrasts peeeerfectly with the simple chorus. nothing speaks better than simplicity, sweet simplicity. keep pickin and grinnin my friend

As a guitar-freak I first noticed the interesting guitar play.
But then I also heard that it is a beatiful song alltogether!

Norwegian Wood?
