leti - er - fdumptch! Zallaz comments in the crashed iC led me to check this out and I'm now a fan. Just great. Your Lou has some Junkies in it as well as Tommy James... I hear just a hint of tough-attitude Patti Smith's delivery I really appreciate.

The wonderful thing that captures me is how this grows into its own unique tune quoting the original.
I kept wanting to hear a chorus of Crimson and Clover, Over and Over, but then it cruised into its own new groove.

I love how the guitars float around throughout the tune. This version has more feeling than the Cowboy Junkies' version. I could hear easily see this as part of the soundtrack to a David Lynch movie. Very sweeeet!
