I was thinking of the singer that you remind me of, I think it becomes even clearer when you sing high notes. That is Reberta Flack. Not that you are both identical but there is striking similarities.

The piano is just the perfect accompaniment--always understated and supportive, yet elegant in its own way, too. But your vocals are the most compelling part of this song.
