Description:
This is my second post/update of Feel the Sun. I completely remixed the tracks and added new lyrics. Please let me know what you think... this is still a work in progress!

Lyrics:
Remember back when the moon shone alone
And how the distant clouds could not harm

Forget your troubles take a pill from home and feel the sun
Forever taking you to some place warm

Feel the sun
Feel the sun

The colors echo through an endless sky
Sun light reflecting through a prism

Forget your troubles take a pill from home and feel the sun
Forever helping you to lose your mind

Feel the sun
Feel the sun

Excellent sound. &mdash 02/25/08 - 12:12:36 PM
Although this is not what I would normally listen to one cannot miss the fine songwriting and songcrafting.Adding another minute of outtro music would finish this off nicely.Well done.

Blessings,

much appreciated &mdash 02/25/08 - 05:14:41 PM
Thank you again for your words, Godchaser. I'm still trying to decide how to finish out the song. I am curious, when you say you would not normally listen to this do you mean the lyrical content or style/mood/genre?

Alterative rock? &mdash 02/26/08 - 01:09:33 AM
Don't get me wrong I like what you've got going on here and think it is worthy of a wider audience.I just tend to gravitate more towards those guitar based pieces that's all.

Blessings,

Rock? &mdash 03/03/08 - 07:33:13 AM
I see what you mean. I wasn't really sure what to label it but I suppose it isn't really Alternative Rock. I'm not sure it's even Rock...just a song I suppose

Good stuff &mdash 02/26/08 - 02:24:19 PM
The vox sits better on this.. really nice feel, and nice harmonies. The vox panning is ok, but i can take it or leave it. Agree that an outro is need - nice work

Thanks. I agree about the vox panning, as soon as I posted this I decided I really didn't like it the way it sounds haha

nice! &mdash 03/03/08 - 02:28:10 PM
good voice man! very good songwriting. if you just added a bit more of an outtro like everyone else said, i think you'd have a pretty sweet piece here.

nice song &mdash 03/03/08 - 05:13:38 PM
i liked how you used a loop that was meant for another type of music completely. great use of dynamics, really nice when the strings and drums drop out for the guitar. i agree with everyone else about putting in an outro, but my vote is going towards something unstructured and kind of jammy (is that a word?). great job.

jammy &mdash 03/03/08 - 06:20:55 PM
i thought jammies were pajamas...

jammy &mdash 03/05/08 - 06:17:13 AM
thanks, michael2. Yeah the drums are unique, part of the beat is from a techno kit, and the other part is hip hop. I've got something recorded for the an outro but I think making it jammy and unstructured at the end is a very cool idea...hmmm
