But with your nice singing voice, you really need a better microphone :-) The guitar recording is a little better, but still sort of muffled. One trick to try is to DUPLICATE the guitar track, copy the recording to the second track, and pan each track far to the right ( 40) and left (-40), and put a little bass & treble boost on each of them, and drop their volume a bit... this will get the guitar "out of the way" of your vocals.

Perhaps the echoes and panning back and forth on your vocals are also making it a little harder to understand the lyrics... I like the effects, but they are a little too loud... maybe soften the echo a little, and boost your vocal track so it is a little louder compared to the guitar part (I liked the electric lead in the middle too.)

The final echo on your last word "Rain rain rain..." is nice.

Definitely a song worth working on more and getting a good recording of.
