Description:
Ok, so this song took a while, but the synth work makes it all worth the wait. This of course is the sequel to Metropolis, a very well created hit of mine made before this song (to get the whole story, listen to Metropolis before listening to this one; it'll make SO much more sense). Anyway, to get the whole story, imagine something like a meteor about to hit earth. That's what Metropolis is all about. Remnants is the somewhat happy ending of the meteor missing (slightly) and all the remaining people rejoicing. I hope you like it, I used a new drum kit (a VERY good one) and a killer mono analog synth about mid-way through (it'll sound somewhat like a synth controlled electric guitar; you'll hear it). So enjoy the tune, because I sure had a great time creating it!

did u seriously use garageband? that is pretty sick, did you buy extra instruments?

Yes, I DID use garageband (3) for this. I have amazed several people and no, all of the main synths are from me (no extras). Thanks for listening! Tell all your friends!

Most of the synths (if not all) were made entirely by me through hybrid morph and the drums were included with the 3rd Jam Pack (Remix). The bass, well was included with the pack as well. I did use a loop for the main drum bass, but that's the only loop. (lol I just realized all of the synths were made by me...sorry!)

Ok, so this is my process:

For the main (pad like synth), I started off with the versova pad and then modified it with it's hybrid morph by making it have a quicker attack and a quicker release. I then added a few reverb FX along with some echo FX. All together, this one takes some time to make.

For the mono synth (the one in the middle of the song), I just modified the "eye liner" instrument included in the jam packs so it had a shorter glide time and I did a few other things (just play around with it). I then added a flanger (a personal editted one by me) and then topped it off with reverb.
