Description

Our band member Roger really put together some great stuff during his first year of college. Over the summer break we recorded a lot of material. This is one of the efforts. We had better equipment, we had made a number of the mistakes already and learned a lot. Still this is all analog. Also one of the best and last performances we did as a group.

Feter, this is our band, this was done in about 1979 or maybe 1980 and was the result of our bass guitarist (fairly well off) purchasing some top notch recording equipment. He wanted to open a small studio. We were his first clients to "test out the system."

Roger (our rhythm guitarist) wrote and sings this song. Virtually everyone in our band is providing some kind of backup. But this was one of our first efforts with the new equipment. It was done piece wise with the keyboard laid down with the drums, then everything else added on. Lots of mixing and hard work.

Man, your band is great. I wish you can introduce them to MacJams if they are interested. This song is a very nice one, one of the best qualities from you and everything sounds fine. Was this really recorded in the early 80s? If YES, then WOW for the quality... Nothing can gets better. A beautiful piece of work!

(BTW: I noticed the genre is "Rock", I see that it's more "Ballad" than "Rock"). Thanks for sharing
