Thanks for listening Feter. I really did enjoy this one. If you're so inclined to want to lay some guitar (or vocals) over this one, you can be my guest. I'm glad you enjoyed this and thanks again for dropping by to listen.

cool &mdash 02/28/08 - 11:09:16 PM
Nice arrangement. I like the almost ominous choir. Very emotional and powerful.

Wow &mdash 02/29/08 - 03:33:46 AM
very ominous and emotional, you know if you added like some timpanis it would really be perfect in my opinion, like at the end of every four count
this is wonderful, though , simply stunning
love that one sour note at the end too

This is something I've done for year, working the night shift....
I really like the approach you've touched on here, your playing
on the Boards is exceptional, you have a nice talent of expression
and timing. In other words you know where the one is in a grove,
fine work fine......

I...........LIKE IT...........

this piece is excellent &mdash 02/29/08 - 04:31:10 AM
in its simplicity of instruments that are well played and the chords are just wonderful...Wonderful backtrack for a vox.

Re: Eagle &mdash 02/29/08 - 11:33:05 AM
Thanks for the comments. I was very close to adding a bit more here, but decided to keep it simple. I think it did turn out better that way. Also I would love to have someone record some vocals over this. I, however, do not have that talent. If you know someone willing, please send them around. Thanks again for stopping by glad you enjoyed it.

Fantastic! &mdash 02/29/08 - 08:27:00 AM
I love it. Are you using the synth grand or did you record the piano as audio? It has a great sound and in my opinion just the right amount of echo/reverb. Beautifully done.

This is so good I'd love to see some ballad lyrics softly sung or even spoken over the top.

Re: Mark &mdash 02/29/08 - 11:36:56 AM
Thanks for the comments Mark, I did play all the notes; however, it is a midi sound from Logic. I don't have enough money for a piano (although, boy I would love one) so the keyboard in the apartment will have to do. I think it was the "pop piano" from, although I'm not 100% sure. I did tweak the reverb and EQ a bit as well, but in the end I think everything melded together just fine. Glad you enjoyed this one!

Why buy a piano? &mdash 02/29/08 - 12:09:15 PM
That one sounds GREAT! Easier to move when you have to change apartments some day too! Trust me I know... I have lugged my Yamaha Studio upright all over the country!

Re: Mark &mdash 02/29/08 - 01:30:48 PM
Haha, yea this is true. I'm in the process of looking for a more realistic feeling (more realisticly weighted keys in specific) keyboard. I'm stuck with the Yamaha DGX-203 which is good but only has 77 keys and the semi-weighted doesn't even deserve that name. Ah well, college is syphoning my funds anyhow. Oh and Mark, if you want to put some vocals on this, or know someone who'd like to, then by all means, be my guest. Take care!

I LIKE IT! &mdash 02/29/08 - 08:45:12 AM
Great balance of piano, strings, choir. I agree - it COULD have more, but then my tendancy is to throw in the kitchen sink - I like this because you kept the sink in the kitchen (where it probably belongs). Nice dynamics on the piano

Re: Magna &mdash 02/29/08 - 11:40:40 AM
Thanks for the comments Magna, I agree with you that the song comes through here because of it's simplicity. It was pretty difficult to restrain myself because as you know it feels necessary a lot of times to rip the sink out of the kitchen for some reason. In the end I just stopped myself after a couple of tracks and told myself that I had to mix/master those. I think it was a pretty good decision and I'm glad it got such a good response from you. Thanks again!

Thanks for the comments Gail. I'm glad that you enjoyed this one. I came up with this melody and it really took me awhile to figure out how to build on it and construct it into a full song. Thanks for stopping by!

Ohhhh! &mdash 03/01/08 - 11:47:04 AM
*eyes bulge* Everything fits together really nicely here. I think it'd be cool if while you were about to go into a transition, you took an empty measure to make us hold our breath and wait. Because I think this song is intense enough to employ lapses really effectively. Great, great work.

Re: Zagar &mdash 03/01/08 - 01:18:10 PM
Thanks for the comments Zagar, I think I'll look into going and adding a break somewhere in between. It's definitely a good suggestion and I think it'd strengthen the song. Thanks for stopping by, I'm glad you enjoyed this.
