Description:
Song about NOT being too old!
Lyrics:
It’s never too Late
It’s never too late, never too late
It’s never too late, never too late to rock N roll
I used to think that if I worked real hard
That I would get somewhere
But now I have I find it’s just the same
And I don’t really care
There’s more to life than a 9 to 5
It took so long to see
Working away just to stay alive
That ain’t no way to be
Now I’m playing in a rock N roll band
I get my kicks at night
Never knew life could be so good
Everything’s alright
I wish I knew what I know now
All those years ago
Then I would have found some way
To be in the Rock N Roll show

I can &mdash 02/29/08 - 03:14:26 PM
completely relate to this! The dream is alive and kicking!
I've been getting together with some friends to jam out recently with the hope of eventually playing out on occasion.
This song has an awesome Ian Hunter feel... and I've always felt he has always been seriously under-rated.
This sounds like a session that was recorded live... would've preferred if the backing vocals were higher in the mix ( or nearer the mic) but wasn't bothered by it enough to diminish my enjoyment of the song.
Great job and excellent message.... can I turn my hearing aid back down yet? [ Reply to This ]

HEY DAVE! &mdash 02/29/08 - 07:45:03 PM
Genre: Good Old 1980's Kick Ass Blues! Your Da Man Dave!!!!
Pros: Tight rhythm section (electric & bass guitar & drums). I like the slap-bass punch. Great Vocals (Lead & Backing).
Cons: Bass guitar track cuts in/out. In addition, some vocal track tweaking (i.e. volume gain, compression, etc.)
Suggestions: Dave, I would like to remix this tune for you, if you don't mine, This is a great piece...email or PM me!

Catchy .. &mdash 03/01/08 - 03:28:02 PM
.. I envisage this as one of these songs played at the
end of a multi-group live show .. and everyone gets on
the stage together to play it.
Touches of The Cars, The Stones, Elvis and the Choirboys.
More cowbell! ;o)
Awesome... gutsy good 'ole rock n'roll... uh huh huh .. thank-you-very-much. [ Reply to This ]
