Lyrics
Through this night
My blood has run colder
I'm holdin tight
But how long will this go for?

I've always known
I'll make it in the end, and
The love you've shown
Is beyond comprehension

And through the fire I'll know you'll be here
Waitin by my side
It seems so real it seems so clear
It's gonna be alright

And when the end has come I know I'm gonna see your face
I'm gonna soar I'm gonna fly into that other place

It'll be that place of love where I will know I'll be with you
Yeah I know it's true

And knowing you
It feels like I'm stronger
To pull through
To run and not, wander

I'm ready now
To walk on believing
That somehow
Through the clouds, you see me

Getting better Joe.
Vocals have that much needed touch of reverb.I believe it shines all the brighter than the first version. It sounds as though you are recording your tracks at a high volume giving you that unwanted hiss.Perhaps you should try recording individual tracks at a lower volume and than boost up the master V during final mix.Panning a vocal left and a second to the right would also greatly enhance your overall sound.Just a thought.Lovely lyrics and guitar playing my friend.

Blessings,

Like the lyrics
Nice delivery with the vocals. Enjoying those leads and the seem textured nicely with a good folk feel.
Enjoyed those fingerpickings as well. Keep going and doing more of it. Would love to hear less of the hiss though. But if you ever can get a hold of a Tascam 122 interface that could solve that problem!. You could get one used for maybe around 50 to 75 dollars on Craigslist. But you mght want to search in various cities and then just mail them and tell them to hold it and you send the money :)
Hope this doesn't offend you. But I really think it could do wonders for the hiss problem.

Nice stuff though. Thanks for sharing

Love this again
It would be perfect if you could get the hiss out. What if you set the volume to 0.0 in GB and put the mic close up to the guitar, playing it alone,, then sing close to the mic on another track, again at 0.0? Then you could increase the volume in iTunes. Just something to try, because it would be awesome if that hiss was gone. This song touches me deeply every time I listen to it.
