lullaby (47)
Description:
This is a little piece dedicated to the sweetest most amazing person in my life, my grand daughter Audrey. She has been a gift from God since she first arrived on the scene. I always tell her she is good enough to eat. At Thanksgiving I told her she was Grampy's Special Turkey. "There's good eatin' on them bones, jes jump in the pot and we'll cook you up good." So Audrey and Grandma decided to play a little trick on Grampy. They put her in the Fryin' pot and said "Grampy come and look at the special turkey we got you for Thanksgiving." Well we just had to get a picture of that. I had written this a while ago and just got GPO and had to try the Steinway piano. Then I added a French horn. Hope you enjoy it.

tasty tribute &mdash 03/01/08 - 09:51:48 PM
A sweet young girl, and a wonderful grandfather to put together something so unique and brilliant as this. You never cease to surprise, with operatic singing to a sweet piano & french horn(!?) ballad... this is gorgeous, as is the young lady you dedicated this to.

Drakonis

talent! This is very nicely done. The melody is sweet, but not overly sentimental, and the playing is superb. Lovely sound too. Your grand-daughter is lucky to have you as her grandpa. Very cool. Nicely done, my friend. Peace.

What a gorgeous piece of music this is! Happy and delightful, just like Audrey! You create such elegant music, yet it is uncluttered. I'm trying to learn how to do that. Very nice combo of piano and horn.

I am so grateful &mdash 03/04/08 - 11:01:30 PM
All the musicians here are the ones inspiring me. Every time I turn around I am discovering new artists and re-discovering music styles. I can't listen to a piece and not be inspired to try that style. That is what is great about this community. I have said it before but I haven't seen this much different music and musicians supporting each other since the 60's. Its truly special.
Thanks all for your inspiration,
Stephen
