flamenco with a lot of flair! very well done, the ending with the choir was huge. the flamenco guitar came off pretty realistic. Nice!! [ Reply to This ]

i actually started from the ending (which is a separate fanfare project).
i kind of disassembled it, and added some new elements, and put 'em back together to make this song.

the blood it runs thick in the streets while the children they hide behind the skirts of their madres when Senior Smoke comes to town. The men at the bar look at themselves in the mirror as they take what might be their last shot of whiskey before facing what awaits them on the dusty street.

although the title means "set free or kept free from restrictions or bonds", it's also a silly pun based on the requester's name: our dear Feter!

I shouldn't try to read liner notes after midnight. sorry, Bill. This is an awesome soundtrack, and you created it all by yourself. Wow... It's a feast. :-) [ Reply to This ]

Wow - amazing what you did with that already fabulous fanfare you created in about 2 seconds. This is really cool, I love the various changes and of course the big ole ending. You're so prolific - and everything you produce is of such high quality. Thanks [ Reply to This ]

Prisoner? &mdash 03/07/08 - 09:15:11 AM
I like the long version. Definitely a good theme for the final scenes of a movie that comes to a glorious climax. Did the Prisoner ever come to a climax? I don't remember if I saw the final episodes. Any way the dynamics and instrument choices take this a long way and it sound great.
Thanks

yup, the Prisoner - one of my all time fave TV series. there was a finale, but it was very strange. i think he sort of got away. it turned out Number One was actually himself. he was his own prison guard so-to-speak.
the Prisoner is the antithesis of freedom. that idea goes various places.
thank you [ Reply to This ]
