Thanks Steve, &mdash 03/03/08 - 05:47:09 PM
Appreciate the comment. The beginning of this sort of starts like Mahler's first Symphony. Thanks for stopping by.

Nice &mdash 03/03/08 - 08:20:10 AM
This is really good. I can def. see it playing before the beginning of a movie. Perhaps its more suited for the film scoring category? Idk, there's such a fine line between the two genres.

Film scoring &mdash 03/03/08 - 05:55:34 PM
Now that you mention it, I would agree this is probably best filed under film scoring. I didn't think too much about it when I categorized it. Thanks for your comments and for listening.

A tinge.. &mdash 03/11/08 - 09:00:26 AM

.. more spacey than others .. like 'final front ear'
at the start ;o).. then surges in ripply waves to the
crescendo .. which had a very nice held peak I liked.. which was certainly quite Oscar ceremony as
requested. Very nice, enjoyed the flavours... short and
sweet, practical and not overly fancy... though those
runs sounded pretty intricate.

Grand job.

I really appreciate your comments! There really are a million ways to do a fanfare, but I tried to stick to what the "client" wanted. If I don't win maybe I'll have to start my own movie company just so I can use this before the film. Ha ha.
Thanks again for your kind words!

I can't remember winning anything like this since a coloring contest in 3rd grade. Ha ha. As Bach would say SDG.
