Using loops is definitely one of those areas where less is more.
Guitar loop: cute. Electronic drums: hey, that was a surprise, but ok, I can deal with it, even though they're not really in the same space.
Then you use some loops just to thicken the texture, but the guitar stays foremost: excellent.
Eh, that oud, dobro, string quartet? It's getting to be too much for me.
But the whole thing ambles along quite pleasantly, and if you had fun with it, who am I to criticize that. [ Reply to This ]
