You've got a really nice strong and confident voice, and you can do tenderness too, which is a great combination. :)

You've both done a great job here. The piano is very pretty, and the beat, when it comes in, fits very snugly with it.

The singing is really lovely and the harmonies fantastic.

This is great. Being a pianist, I notice piano parts, and it's played beautifully here. Who is that playing? Great piano chops! Vocals are gorgeous, lyrics excellent. The orchestration goes together so well. Great job!

this, both singing and playing. Becca sounds very close to Madonna in texture and style. This is a very nice addition to MJ in my opinion. I like this style of singing especially the emotional-kinda spanish flavor.

very emotional and VERY lovely melody of the piano.
listening to it again... wow guys. It is like to be dipping a spoon into a nice thick filling of a cheese cake, so rich and flavourful... no empty and boring over sweetened whipped cream.

Very nice song, lyrics, singing. Technically, I feel like the effects on the vocal caused it to feel sort of thin. The piano has such a rich sound, so that in comparison the treatment of the vocal sounds sort of ill-matched. It's like there's a small room reverb on the vocal and there's a concert hall reverb on the piano, and it feels like they should sound a bit more unified, especially since the vocal recording and performance are top notch. When the drums come in the vocal mix seems more integrated, but I still think that's a bit that could be easily fixed by paying a bit more attention to placing the two main elements of the song, the piano and the vocal, in the same sonic (virtual) environment.
Also while I'm being a jerk and being overly picky, I think you mean "games we've played" rather than "plaid". Great collaboration, though!

I thought I should respond to this.
Pleased you liked the song. Becca left the technicalities to me - I only had an mp3 to work with for the sound bed and although with a little bit more expertise on my part I could have maybe matched the reverb a bit better - I am actually quite pleased with the result, but take your comments on board.
English is not Becca's native language and I am very impressed that she writes lyrics in English so well. I think we can allow her the odd spelling mistake.

Wow Becca, this is just incredible. I love your lyrics, they're very meaningful and you sing them perfectly. I've got to say that this turned out to be amazing. I thought I had sent you the GB file, but I can upload it to rapidshare or something if you or Len would like to adjust the other parts of the song. The song now feels complete and the melody you've created fits in perfectly. I'm very impressed at your lyrics, vocals, and overall talent here. It was great to work with you and I love how it turned out. I'd love to work with you on some other songs!

beautiful voice, great backing. I'm hearing too much fx on the vocal, especially at the start of the song, and I think that takes away from your beautiful voice. Would love to hear a remix of this with a much straighter vocal - I mean, the same vocal without the fx I guess.
