Description:
I came up with a chorus melody I really liked and was fortunate enough to build a verse I enjoyed just as much. It's a simple progression, for a simple song that meant a lot to me at the time.
A good friend of mine helped me make my idea of the solo a reality.
Thanks for listening. As always your feedback is very appreciated.

Lyrics:
Obvious to me,
But not so obvious to you,
Don't know, but I guess we'll find out.

When I realize
It's me who owns your eyes
How sweet that is...
And I'm lucky I guess

For Talking to you.
And I won't stop. I can't stop.

When I realize that all this time you've looked at me,
I'm proud and fall over the edge.
Say it again to me and I will sing a treat to you,
I swear, that I'll stop if you ask me to.

I'm talking to you.
I won't stop. I can't stop.

cool song &mdash 03/05/08 - 10:41:40 PM
sounds good. A bass track would really fatten this one up. Great songwriting.

definately &mdash 03/07/08 - 10:35:47 AM
Thank you so much. The song has a very "classic" verse-chorus-verse format, nothing too fancy.
I agree, I've been meaning to add bass to this. I even have the whole bass track written out. The problem is, I have too many tracks on this project as it is. I might have to do some consolidation in order to get this in. Any suggestions of how to do this without losing sound quality in certain details?

nice track &mdash 03/09/08 - 03:18:45 PM
I can definitely hear the weezer influence in this one. Kind of the same sound we hear off the Maladroit album. There are even parts where you have a twinge of Rivers in your voice. Well done!
