Description:
hey! I was working on this track when I heard both Onesweetworlds 'Limbo' and SmokeyVWs 'This Old Cup'... it kinda gave me ideas ^^ the instrumental track was done before I heard both accapelas, but I think it really fit, well... you'll tell me ;-) I used only a small portion of Smokeys track, used couple of sentences as a chorus, kind of.

thank you guys for letting me use your voices!

this is quite a vintage electro tune, hope you'll somehow dig it.

Lyrics:
Limbo
I'm stuck in your limbo
Between lost and found
A square peg round
I'm left in your limbo
I'm stuck in your limbo

so why should it be replaced?

so why should it be replaced?

so why should it be replaced?

it's still functional

Hey there. Sorry about not responding to your messages..I don't get on here as much as I'd like to. Nice job on this. Is my voice slowed down a bit? I sound kinda drunk! hahahaha. Good job on combining two different artist's lyrics. Goes together nicely.

Kraftwerk pulse &mdash 03/15/08 - 12:25:26 PM
Recalls me one of the first gig they did in France. A bit spooky, indeed, and hypnotic over all. Loved it.

Edward Gorey in tongues!!! &mdash 03/15/08 - 06:06:36 PM
nifty. that's all there is to it. unsettling, but nifty.

How did you get the delay to ping-pong tracks like that? It's a neat effect.

I had to look in my english-french dictionary for the word nifty... thanks to you Greg, I've learned a new word :-) as far as I can remember, I can't remember what ping pong effect i used... exept that I duplicated the voice track to create some kind of delay :/

who is Edward Gorey btw?

Edward Gorey is . . . &mdash 03/18/08 - 04:53:24 PM
a (dead) man who wrote and illustrated short rhyming books. He has a dark, dry, surreal sense of humor and only makes black and white ink drawings. The artwork for this song is the cover of his book entitled
The Doubtful Guest
.

Glad I could help your vocabulary grow. Unfortunately, my French is pitiful.

Cheers,
-g
