Description:
I had to do the drums myself on this one, you know cutting and splicing. I don't have any 3/4 beats so I have to make them. Just something basic.

Anyway, I have had this song sitting around for a while and I tinkered with it today. Hope it sounds good.

The song: Written on an airplane somewhere over the Atlantic, just daydreaming really.
I just wanted the instruments to set the mood and not be too busy. I want the vocals to be atmospheric and a bit trippy.

lots of attitude here. reminds me of the last 3/4 Floyd's The Trial, one of my faves from The Wall. HOWEVER, enough of you in there to make it completely your own. One of my favorites of yours so far. Great job Dave. Gotta go press play again :)

Dave, could it be, is that the voice of Mick Jagger doing backup vocal? It does have the hint of Stones about it. Very good. Extra marks for the 3/4 time signature. It creates a really unusual feel.

3/4 time is like playing a guitar left handed there always something offsetting about it but the results usually surprise, very creative song, reminds of the occasional aquatic themes of Jim Morrison and the doors and has a touch of Sgts Peppers, heh cool song

TW, thanks for the compliments. The only real hard thing for to was the drums, regarding a 3/4 song. I have quite a fey in 6/8 or 3/4 time. Just no loops. I'm sure there's some place I could download them, though.

this is a really great track. it's all been said: great use of waltz time, the backing vocals adding so much character, the great lyrics, and the slightly Floyd feel. but let me be the first to say it this way: I friggin love this song.
