A crazy story I wrote just when my friend Arend (eagle1) asked if if I had some material for a collaboration. I immediately finished it up and with his great vocals the song tool shape. I hope you enjoy it.

She came out of nowhere, like a vision or a dream
The room was packed but her eyes shined
So bright, so green, as she entered the scene.

It was ones of those parties, you know
Where people talked about politics, arts, cheese and wine
Nobody cared much about each other
But everyone got a chance to be seen, you know
Right on the scene.

I was young and I was reckless, didn't care about the glam
All I cared was about the beauty of this Lady with green eyes.

As she walked towards the bathroom I decided to play gay
I know it was absurd but it made her feel so safe
We became the closest "girlfriends" as the night went by.

(oh I knew I was gonna burn in hell,
But I didn't care)

Lots of wine, beer and martinis and a little bit of dust
The time had come and she was ready to test her charms
I was ready and decided to let her explore her powers
Her willingness to turn me into a real man.

How could I disappoint her?

She was quite skillful I must say and to my surprise
I found out that not only I wasn't gay
But that I had discovered a gold mine
And the gold was for me to keep and not to give away.

(Should I really go to hell?)

This song is classy! Very cool stuff, a wonderful collab :-) The beginning reminds me of the James-Bond-chord-progression ;-) Excellent choice of instruments and sounds, and wonderful vocals. Thanks for sharing :-)

Really like this - I think Arend's vocals mixed with Bernardo's music and lyrics is a real winner. Maybe the vocals could come up a little in the mix, but only a very minor thing. Love the keys.

original composition and a fabulous arrangement musically. I love the vocals...( wonderful voice), the lyrics too highly original... but...... not being gay is being a 'real man' ???? Great song and performances, regards M

You're right, being gay doesn't take away your gender, yet in the perception of my character and where he comes from, being gay and being a "real man" are contradictions. It's just fiction based on certain aspects of real life. In the end it's nothing but a song.

it reminds me of a song by elvis- the green eyes bit-
he sang she had the prettiest green eyes ever seen
forgot the rest lol

Now you could do another with you B singing haha then I would have listened to two Gems for the price of one well done guys.

Great Music

Good blues and nice beats here. Like the 'swing' of it and very much the vocal work.

NB. I think the Production/Performance deserves a 10.

Very well crafted production. I liked the tone of the lead guitar, the bass is really nice and the percussion has a nice feel. Good vocals and a great organ sound.
