But it can be a hell of a lot of fun to when you share it with your friends and family. Just like you shared this one with all of us.

Rocks on Joseph and sounds really good. Only thing was the lead break seemed way too far back in the mix for me. Of course I am going deaf, but I could hear the rest of it just fine, and I really liked what you've done. Good lyrics, good rhythm, great bass, that's just what the barkeep ordered.

Humourous, uplifting and really well sung (and a bass solo to boot!). This is one of your strongest vocals yet I think - I reckon you should do this more often.
Reminiscent of Poco's "We're All Heading For a Hoedown"...... kick up yer heels :)

There's actually a story behind the bass solo. This was written when I was in college and, at the time, I was in one of the university's jazz bands. The bass players had a little competition going on to see how often we could work a few licks from "Dixie," which is the university's fight song, into whatever we were playing. So, this tune was just perfect for that.

Glad you enjoyed it. And the vocals on this one were really fun to do.

Fun, fun, fun. This is one of the most exuberant songs in all of Macjams. Although you sing about how life is hard, this has pure joy and entertainment in its core. It has real, inspirational message in the core of this uplifting song.
